Since traveling restrictions were in-place this summer, I was unable to hit a destination on my bucket list so I decided to bring elements of Europe to my romantic getaway picnic.
I woke up early, headed to my local French bakery first thing in the morning and bought an assortment of sweet croissants that were worth every single bite! We then stopped by our local florist who had the most beautiful floral arrangements that were fitting for our summer setting. I picked a bouquet filled with some of my favorites; miniature sunflowers, lilies ready-to-bloom and pastel flowers fitting for the European Summer of my dreams. I drove to a nearby park and found the perfect spot underneath an enchanting emerald-green tree towering over a quiet area. Once I settled down, I enjoyed the sunny day underneath the shade with a glass filled with rosé and flipped through my French illustration book.
It was the perfect little romantic getaway right in NYC.
This summer I’ve been obsessed with an array of pastel colors – I wore the prettiest lavender crop top with white floral threaded detailing that complemented our set up.
