There’s nothing like fall in New York City! Its like a touch of magic bestows the city with its fallen leaves and autumn décor – this season is my ultimate favorite time of year because it marks the beginning of all celebrations and the holiday season. Its such a festive time from everything Pumpkin Spice (no, seriously its on another level this year – just head to Trader Joe’s to see for yourself) to Free Forms 31 Days of Halloween and all the neutrals in my wardrobe ready to be mixed and matched.
I love getting into the Halloween Spirit and finding unique places that make the season extra magical. During a beautiful Sunday afternoon I drove out to Long Island for some pumpkin picking and time outdoors. A hundred pictures later I finally decided on two pumpkins to take home – for decoration purposes of course! But before heading back to the city I knew I had to make my way to Huntington to try the ultimate Pumpkin Spice Latte that’s served in a real mini pumpkin!
Instead of a traditional denim look, I opted for a golden slip midi dress with a pair of my favorite white leather sneakers and layered it with a brown moto style jacket. To accessorize, I paired my outfit with a camel color wide brim hat, gold layered necklaces, hoop earrings and a mini bag. I am definitely into all the neutrals and color scale of chocolates, taupe and nudes – you will definitely see me in these colors more than usual this year.
